Jordana's thoughts and updates on Kako
That would be me. I'm a serial learner who sees the potential of a world in which we use technology to level the playing field and as a tool for individual and societal growth and development. By doing this, we can reverse the terrifying economic inequality trends of the last four decades.
But this will only happen when enough people unite. We talk of unity all the time, but rarely are people given the tools necessary to accomplish it. Kako aims to use technology to connect members of the community and then build tools around their needs to maximize their success.
Before we can build the tools, we need the community. This is where Kako comes in, using the Kako app as our initial member tool. The app is available for free download on apple and android devices and is ad-free. It has a ton of capabilities already, but the main point is that we're getting the people together who want to start addressing some of the most critical problems of our time. It's a way to connect those who want a more equitable world and to start moving in the right direction immediately. There's a lot we can do, and technology can assist us, but ultimately it will be the collective impact of enough people stepping up and doing their small part that will move the needle.

Welcome to our website
The content that is currently in the channel section of the community are resources that I've found helpful in my learning quest. In this blog section, I'll do my best to share how these resources helped shape the Kako vision. I'm hoping that by doing this, more people will both understand the seriousness of our current situation and be compelled to do their part to avoid an even bigger catastrophe (yes, it can and is almost guaranteed to get worse from here unless significant structural changes are made)
When I first launched Kako, I warned that continued inaction to economic inequality threatened the stability of our nation; That historically, only plague, major wars, revolution, and state collapse were drastic enough to reverse the economic gap. I begged people to take action to avoid a bigger catastrophe. 2020 took a lot of people by surprise, but it shouldn't have. The writing was on the wall and it was avoidable. And I don't mean to be a party pooper, but COVID-19 has only intensified the underlying problem.
Technology is getting exponentially better, but so far, an obnoxious amount of financial gains have gone to billionaires and those who measure their wealth in nine digits. Since COVID-19 hit the US in March 2020, the wealth of the 666 billionaires (ironic, right?) increased by 40%. We're now at an inflection point. Unless extraordinary measures are taken, things are about to get even worse.
But it doesn't have to be this way. Technology will either be used to solve problems or magnify them. What are you doing to ensure the former?
