Has social media become toxic for you? Do you have a love/hate relationship with FaceBook and Twitter? If so, you're not alone. Several studies highlight the negative impact of these type of sites on happiness and connectedness. Social media is a powerful tool, but we need to change the way we use it.

At Kako, we are using it to boost mental health and happiness. We want our members to share what they are doing to better themselves and their local communities. We want to encourage each other to be our best selves because ultimately, it's the cumulative effect of all of these small acts that will bring about the biggest change.
